Joanna Mansfield, RN, BSN

With over 15 years of nursing experience, Joanna has dedicated her career to serving the geriatric population across a wide range of healthcare settings. After earning her BSN from Ryerson University in Toronto, she began working in inpatient geri-psychiatric care, which laid the foundation for a career marked by compassion, clinical excellence, and a deep commitment to advocacy.
Her professional journey has included roles with the New York State Department of Health as a nurse surveyor, in Assisted Living both at the community level and in national leadership positions, and in home health as a nursing case manager. During her tenure in the assisted living sector, she had the opportunity to speak at several national conferences, sharing insights on holistic approaches to geriatric care and promoting innovative, person-centered models.
These diverse experiences have deepened her understanding of the complex needs of older adults and fueled her passion for ensuring they receive appropriate, accessible, and dignified care. She remains a dedicated advocate for the senior population and is committed to advancing healthcare practices that support aging with purpose and respect.
